Project Neo-Deco
Completed in 2 stages and 3 years apart ,this art deco home has been thoroughly renovated and elevated with modern luxuries and refined design. The design and materiality has dissolved the years between and connected the spaces in an appealing soft palette .Not our typical genre but one that we thouroughly enjoyed being a part of.
Stage 1 : introduced three unique bathrooms unified by striking emerald green quartzite, warm brass accents and honed lattice mosaic floors that were finished and honed on site.
Stage 2 : transformed the heart of the home with a new Kitchen with connected butler pantry/laundry complete with engineered stone in taj mahal. Adjacent to the kitchen is a new living room complete with fireplace and new dining area all fitted out with Clever storage , new flooring and an entertaining bar . We built a large round shafted skylight funneling all day natural light into what was a dark space, illuminating the island bench below. Both stages are semalessly connected through materiality ,generous spacial planning .The home is thoughtfully curated for multi generational living and a home tailored for this vibrant extended family.
