From ugly duckling to beautiful swan!
An old house with a few problems and not much room for a growing family, the owners had architechural plans to develop this small 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house into a larger home of 3 bedroom, bathroom and internal laundry with large extension at the back for kitchen, living and fireplace with large rear deck.
The extension has a large raked ceiling giving the house an enormous amount of family space and a large kitchen. We added some new areas by moving around the entry point to create a much needed study nook and larger laundry and dining. The internal luxury additions were new timber work, windows and shutters.
The roof windows were a fabulous use of light which gave a sense of space .
A beautiful paint job and the new swan emerged.
Stage 2 is in the near future for a new garage and entry .
